There's a site called Prefundia that lets you post your project before it launches on Kickstarter so you can start building momentum and then leverage it to blow up your project day one (hopefully).

I've used it and find it very helpful!

Sounds like a good idea to me.

It's a fun site and I love the simplicity, but at this point I have my project strewn across so many websites I'm not even sure it's a good idea to have another webpage devoted to this project. (My official website has yet to go live)
