I find myself using most if not all of my free time working on my project. So that includes both after work and on the weekends!

i started researching my Kickstarter campaign in October 2014. I had thought i could launch it in a month - ha! I quickly found out how much work it takes. Since then i have consumed just about all there is to know about Crowdfunding, and talked to a whole slew of successful creators. As I don't currently work i generally spend an afternoon each day - with days off here and there. I realize that creating a successful campaign takes a WHOLE LOT of time.

Thankfully for me, I have a product that's ready to launch - my book about an incredible 10,000 km journey into the heart of India, "Nirvana By Installments". I had it laid out and professionally edited and Photo-shopped, so I am using the campaign to do a print run and distribute it. 1. I usually work on the Kickstarter 3-4 hours a day.
2. Including weekends.

Me and my partner spent approximately 20-30 hours per week including weekends leading up to the launch today.

I'm currently on my 3rd project and I'd say I spend about 8 - 10 hours a week replying to messages and comments. At the beginning of a project, it's probably more but after that initial rush, there isn't a whole lot left to do.

I probably spend about 40 hours a week working on my project give or take. Depends how busy my week is besides the project. I've been trying to pump it out quickly. I find it difficult to be patient waiting for on meetings, start up funding and other people to get the quality I want before I launch my board game campaign.

There's the impatience kicking in..

It's just the day 4 of my project but it's proving to be a full time job. So far I've spent around 100 hours preparing for the launch and 7 hours per day since the launch. We've created the first pair of designer jeans with completely unzippable pockets for some fun in your life.

The fact that we're not based in US or UK is just proving my theory that if you're not in the heart of crowdfunding, it's harder to gain the momentum. Not impossible, but harder.

Even if my project it's actually a hobbie, I make time everyday to work on it al least for an hour.

I actually work on something I really like, Art direction for commercials. But I LOVE to cook, so I started a blog with my recipes, and now, after several months I want to turn it into a Web Series. A recipe per episode. I started a Kickstarter recently to film the episodes myself.

A hobbie can also be a proyect right? I love to work on that as much as I can.

I don't have a set amount of time that I spend on my campaign; I just do what I can when I have some free time.

I spend 2 to 3 hours a day, during the week due to working a full time job, on my project. I wish I had more time, since it's a lot of work to get a publishing project noticed.
