    Conjure Trading Card Game

    by Hawkinsn » Thu Feb 27, 2014 12:58 am

    Hi,
My name is Nathan Hawkins and I currently have project that has 3 weeks left to run. we have currently received almost $5000 through pledges and have around $1000 coming through over the next week. Our target is $15,000 so really pushing to put the word out there - we have received fantastic responses to Conjure and also the demo sessions that we have run.

Interestingly around half of the funds have come from overseas, we have already signed up 12 stores to stock Conjure and in discussions with 2 of the largest distributors in the country who supply to around 170 Stores,

Please check it out and let me know what you think, any advise is greatly appreciart

Wow - Incredible illustrations/images. Love magic the gathering. Congrats on your distribution deals. How did you go about approaching the distributors/stores?

What kind of marketing/outreach have you been doing already for the campaign?

Thanks for the kind words, our art is getting some attention but it is our game play that sets us apart. It sounds pretty old fashioned but prior to launching our Kickstarter project I just called them, made appointments and did a demo with the store owner and usually a gamer or 2 of theirs. The results were fantastic,

Facebook is going well for us – over 400 likes, I just feel that the Kickstarter needs some more attention, in saying that I have a large Conjure Deck Building event that I am running on March 8th that I think will get a lot of attention and some of our pledgers are waiting for this event. Hopefully that will mean we get a surge at the end however, more attention now wouldn’t hurt

Hmm... I interviewed one other table top game creator. Not sure if any of their tips would be helpful, but included a link to it below.

I really like your concept. The illustrations are very appealing.

Thanks, got 2 weeks to run on Kickstarter - trying to drum up as much interest as possible.

So far the responses have been fantastic and we are lucky enough to have a group of fanatical fans who are volunteering their time in play testing

FYI - The Kickstarter rewards were not fulfilled. Beware!
