(Kickstarter) Great Lakes | Classic Northern Apparel | USA

    Hi everyone!

I just wanted to introduce you guys to a project I've been working on over the past year. I recently started a Midwestern lifestyle clothing brand called Great Lakes inspired by simple, Northern Living. We're a 100% American Made company and we give 1% of each product sold to two awesome organizations that protect and conserve our lakes around the Midwest.

Here is my Kickstarter, we've got some awesome rewards to check out: http://kck.st/17NTWfZ

We launched this Kickstarter to help fund our brand new Hudson Polo & Seersucker leather tabbed belts that we're super excited about (about halfway there!). I just recently graduated from the University of Minnesota and have taken this on full time, I'd love to hear what you guys think about it!

    Thanks so much,
    Spencer Barrett

Congrats on raising 10k! Do you have any advice to pass on as to how you went about marketing your campaign to raise that amount?

Thanks! It's an okay start but we still have work to do. We hosted a launch party event at a local brewery that helped raise a good chuck of the initial pledging from friends and family which builds a good base. Then sending personal emails is also a very effective way to get your idea out there
