I work as a CSR in a call center. Pretty rough. As far as as my pet project, it is two-fold: I want to do 11 3D features and I want to do the first ever 3D Cliffhanger Serial. Why 11 3D features? Simple. The person who shot the most number of 3D features previously shot 10. The problem is they were all porn. As a 3D Buff, I can't let that stand. Call it silly, but it is what is.

My 9 to 5 grind is county government reporter/videographer for the newspaper here in Denton, TX. Beyond that I am an indy pro wrestler and have a greater interest in production and am finishing the second season of my low budget original super hero web series, Party Girl. Add family, kids and my gaming habits and I am a pretty busy guy.

    My passion project... Party Girl

I am a graduate student studying to get my doctorate in school and clinical child psychology. I'm a student, and I work as a therapist, a researcher, and a nanny,

My passion project is my singing. I've been singing for years, but since I graduated college it's been difficult for me to find time for my music, or outlets to sing. I have been recording some low quality covers on my laptop, singing at open mics, and writing lyrics in my spare time, and even performed a cabaret showcase in NYC last February. I'm on kickstarter now trying to raise money so I can meet with a professional producer to have my songs co-written and recorded.

Check out my the link in my signature to hear my sound :) And if you like it please help me out, I'm only $75 from my goal :D
My name is Christine Petit and I am a 23 year old doctorate psychology student, singer, and lyricist living in NYC. Check out my kickstarter project here to help me create and record my original songs: http://kck.st/1A3kZ3Y

I work on Wall Street, and because of this startup + kickstarter I think I'm going to lose my job. Oh well because my passion seems to be the startup rather than finance.

    Dear friend of Kickstarter,

Some of us have a day job, and some of us don't. Technically I am retired, drawing Social Security. But I am busier than ever. I have been a plant breeder of pawpaws (Asimina triloba) since 1981, with the intention of bringing them out of the woods and into our farms and gardens and dining tables. The pawpaw is North America's largest edible native fruit, a member of the Custard Apple Family and the only member that is temperate; all others are tropical. At any rate the pawpaw fruit, even in the wild, can be fabulous, and I have developed six terrific varieties generally superior to the other pawpaw varieties in the trade.

My scientific work of breeding morphed in 1999 into the commercial aspect, and now here it is, 2015, and I have seven nurseries licensed to sell my trees, and one nursery in Europe and one in Japan that are licensed (but not selling). That is the reason for my Kickstarter project, to provide the funds for registering Trademarks in EU and Japan: expensive but necessary to protect the marketing of these commodities. In the US I already have the trademarks. This is explained really well on my Kickstarter page, which also includes the NPR interview with me about my work: https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/17 ... -go-global

Well, as you can see I am passionate about this work. I never received any compensation for 20+ years of breeding until recently --- maybe just in time for my retirement. I should mention that breeding pawpaws, collecting scions, selling fruit, and giving lectures does not keep me busy all year round. In my previous life I was an agricultural economist, and I still maintain an interest in that field. And pursue research interest in physical anthropology --- and creative writing of poetry and screen play.

My day job is as a web designer. I design/develop movie websites for Paramount, Universal, WB, Fox, Dreamworks... mainly international release. So .co.uk, .de, .jp versions of movies websites.

My passion project is a self cleaning toilet brush that I and a partner of mine have been working on. We have a fully functional prototype (http://handisani.com) and we have a company ready to build us a mold that we can use for mass production if our KickStarter gets funded. So fingers crossed! I'd love any tips. I've read a lot of info and have taken action on most of it... social sites are all up and being posted to regularly. But growth is slow...

I work as an English teacher in Tokyo 5 days a week. It was actually during a lunch break with my kindergarten students that I drew a sketch last summer that ended up turning into my passion project - 4 inch sci-fi inspired jellyfish toy.

    https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/go ... onster-toy

It's a case of getting inspiration during my day job from the opinions of students from many ages. Although, my target audience are grown up with child-like toy addictions (people like me).
