UTOPIA (A Digital Interactive Gaming Magazine)

    by pungello1988 » Fri May 10, 2013 5:07 pm

    Hello all,

My name is James and together with my colleagues at VGU.TV we have launched a Kickstarter for a digital gaming magazine and I'd love it if we could get some advice/feedback from more seasoned Kickstarter vets. This is our first foray into the Kickstarter process so we are noobs in every sense of the word. :D

    Thanks in advance,

    James

Here's the thing. I cover Kickstarters all the time. Your campaign is missing a few things:

    - More images, be it text graphics or full blown examples, you don't have a lot of visual stimuli going on
    - Give people more detailed examples of your content
    - A video!? you HAVE to let people know who you are to gain both interest and confidence

That's my personal website. We promote tons of Kickstarter projects. From the $2.25 million Camelot Unchained to Welcome to Boon Hill we offer promotion and advice to Kickstarter projects. The product itself may be great, but the presentation is severely lacking. Let us know if your interested in some help promoting content for your project. Our Kickstarter editorials always end up on the front page of http://kicktraq.com where projects are tracked and trended. Backers check kicktraq all the time for new, interesting projects. Sometimes it's hard to sift through all of the projects that launch on Kickstarter. We work hard to promote unique content on Kickstarter and we'd be happy to help if you need it.
