More usable UI for mobile as I only have a phone to access the Internet.

I have started to use indieGoGo because Kickstarter is not currently available in Czech Republic.

I have to say, that I don't have very positive experience with it currently, since their algorithm for determining trending and ending projects is mysterious. I have discussed it with their support, but they were not very willing to help. I have tried to reach technical staff, but I didn't get through first level support.

It is sad, that you have to compete with projects like "buy me new game" and similar.

i am considering using indegogo because i used kickstarter last time which might not be the right platform to get my Teen Self Esteem Program out there... it does not really fit under any of kickstarters categories...

It seems to me that indiegogo makes a stronger effort in promoting projects on its platform than kickstarter. The Indemand feature is also a plus.

I thought the layout was a lot cleaner but I worry that my project isn't being seen by enough people. What do you think? Or do you think there's something wrong with my campaign?

I think people use Indiegogo because they like the fact that they are still able to get what funds are raised to hopefully start on their project as opposed to Kickstarter if it fails you get nothing.

I going to run mine on both platforms because I will also be using the campaigns for research in my final project.

I think IGG offers more support than KS. At least for some verticals such as hardware. Plus it's less noisy in many cases. Ineneral KS is getting so hit driven whereas IGG is a little more flexible and open.

Indiegogo allows to launch compaign for many countries.

Hey Everyone, It seems that flexible funding is a winner overall. I notice its also less strict in terms of what you can post, like Kickstarter doesnt allow medical devices etc..
