    Indiegogo is cooler!

Much better than Kickstarter from our experience! One reason: it doesn't have restrictions for non-Americans

Come take a look at our campaign if you're interested in Travel and mobile apps

Good point! Not all countries are allowed to use Kickstarter.

I also enjoy the flex billing, it really gives us the chance to grow while making our campaign better and live up to the cause right before your eyes!

I agree I've found it much easier to start my campaign on Indiegogo :)

I heard the Flexible Funding can be tricky if you have a gadget/invention/product that has slim margins. With the added commission it makes it hard for some to follow through on promises without going in the red.

I like a lot of the features of Indiegogo, but I've found that Kickstarter is where the funding is. KS might learn a thing or two from IGG, but without a community of deep-pocketed backers that stumble upon my project, I can't see using it soon. About 70% of my funding has come from people who discovered me on Kickstarter.

Not sure it is cooler, but it is definitely better if you do not live in the United States.
