Photographer working on project to help the homeless

    by jimhoey » Thu Aug 08, 2013 8:33 pm

Hi all. I'm a photographer in Wisconsin who is working on a project to help the homeless. It's a multi-media gallery exhibition that combines stills with interview excerpts backed by a specific song. The show will have standard prints hanging on walls with the multi-media part to supplement the experience. The multi-media portion will be made available for free to all organizations interested in using it for promotional purposes. Any kind of spreading of the word would be appreciated.

    Cheers,

Hey Jim. Seems like a good cause :). In my experience, it's very rare that strangers are willing to put the first few dollars into a project. May want to ask some friends/family to pledge to get the amount up from $0.00 and maybe also include some tiers below $25 for people who can't afford to pledge at that tier but still want to support.

Also, if you have a second, could you provide some feedback on other people's campaigns also? If you include your campaign link in your signature, people will have chance to check out yours every time you comment.
