Hey, I think #Vatman is the perfect hashtag for you guys because its personal. Its you and its your product. Our hashtag is the name of our project, #DIYNF, do it yourself natural food because it too is personalized to us. So I would stick with #vatman! =]

Social networking is a fickle beast that is for sure. When I first made the Facebook page for my project, long before I thought of starting a Kickstarter campaign, I had someone find my page and share it and I got like 50 likes in one night and it was so exciting for me! Of course, then there are days where we get no traffic at all.

Hey Macky!
The thing is that you don´t have to know too too much about social networking, though I could be wrong. The joy of social networking is that it takes care of itself. You have to get your feet wet and market your Self and your idea, and continue doing so. Simple sharing and campaigning. One share is really all it takes if each person that shares also backs your campaign. Just try different avenues, twitter, facebook, blogs, forums, etc. and continue marketing. The networking piece will come. Best of luck again!

I'll tell you what, I've been spending hours a day building and maintaining and I'm only really using twitter and Facebook. I dearly wish I had started doing so sooner and trust me it's time consuming but it's worth it if you can do it right.

I agree with you on the Twitter and Facebook aspect. I´m on other blogs and sites but Twitter seems to be working the best with regards to support and networking. Also forums like this one are extremely useful not just for tips and advice, but also for networking and meeting other backers and creators. You´re right that it is time consuming, very much so, but you´re also right that it´s well worth it!
