    My Crowdfunding project :)

    by Jason B » Thu Aug 21, 2014 3:58 pm

    Greetings everyone.

    My name is Jason and I am looking to get my idea off the ground and will happily take on board any advice anyone will offer.

    Atm I have not much of a clue on how to promote this but I am scrabbling around the internet looking for ways and means, just to get the message out there and get people to share and share. It is something I feel it pretty important and well worth looking into I just need to get people to hear about it. Very excited :) Going to be such fun.

    Here is a link to my project :)

    Many thanks and blessings

    Yeah definitely make a video man, exactly what you said, people like to watch rather than read.

    I believe a majority of people on crowd funding sites would say the same and encourage you to make a video to show that you have at least some progress and are willing to take a few hours or days out of your development time to make a video.

    Good luck!

    I have looked into this further and I had to take it down, as I need a proper marketing and promotional plan ready before I can properly launch this.

    I want to do this properly and as effectively as possible. Need to do this in the right way rather than just jumping into it and hoping for the best. Direct my passion in the best possible way and it should flourish rather than plod along.

    Will update again when I have my project far more organised.

    :)

    Hey Jason... I happened to come across this thread before you took it down. I think you should get together with the EE and build a prototype before you even get to marketing and promotion side of it. You may find that it'll take longer than you anticipate to develop a product.

    @undicumani

    The project is to create a prototype renewable energy source which will eventually power a home. The other side of the project would be to build a vehicle which never needs refuelling nor recharging.

    I know I can get the technology to work as it already works. Its just that noone seems to have put two and two together so I want to bring that technology to the people.

    @JayRM

    sorry for my ignorance but what does EE stand for? Im seriously considering moving in the direction of creating this REV (renewable energy vehicle) first as I feel that would hit my target audience better and far easier.....ie pretty much everyone. Considering we all have to pay for fuel of some sort. The energy for the home can come after. Altho the technology would be the same just implemented slightly differently and on a larger scale.

    Many thanks for your comments.

    oh sorry.. I'm a ME (mechanical engineer) myself, so I get into the habit of using those acronyms, not realizing non engineering majors don't know them. EE is electrical engineer.

    That's great, Jason. Get ready for a long road ahead of you.
