Hey guys I just want to post an update on my kickstarter as well as ask for some idea's for getting the word out. Here is the link to my kickstarter https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/985727377/whimzical-whizkerz-charms-and-buttons.

I have been kicking myself for making my original goal $360, but I thought that it was a low enough goal that it would be easily made and surpassed. I could have made my original goal $180 and only offered 5 different charm options and made my first stretch goal $360 and then offered all 10 charm designs, but hind site is always 20/20. Also I have completely run out of places to share my kickstarter. I have messaged all of my friends personally and many of them are sharing my kickstarter as well. I even passed out fliers at my last craft sale and posted fliers at different places around town.

I also have a few friends that said they were going to pledge, but still have not and I do not want to bother them about it until it gets close to the end of the kickstarter. I'm just kind of lost on what else to do.

Almost there Holly! You can do it!! If it comes down to it you can re-post on Facebook. You will most likely make your goal.

You mentioned Facebook what about Twitter and/or Pinterest? Both , I believe, are great ways to help spread the word for your kind of project. Links to our pages are below.

Another really cool way to get cheap marketing is Fiverr. For $5 you can get your project Tweeted out to thousands of people or posted on facebook by people with thousands of friends. Link below.

Yes I have used it and yes It did bring traffic to my page. I was happy enough with it that I will use it again. Don't expect miracles but if you just need a bit of an exposure boost, for $5 it might be worth it. As with anything of this nature do your research.

Please let us know how it goes! I am considering it as well. The Pinterest idea seems great to. Sometimes just posting a Facebook status that updates everyone can remind people who may have forgotten (I got a $25 pledge that way just this morning).
