I'm working ob setting up my first Kickstarter project. I'm worried about the fees and figuring out everything right so that, if my project does get funded, I'm not left in the hole because I didn't charge enough.

Does Amazon and Kickstarter collect fees on the money you charge for shipping? I don't see a place to put in a separate shipping charge so I'm guessing the answer is yes but in hopes that I'm missing something I thought I'd ask.

I know when you set up your project rewards there is a place to add shipping. Not sure if fees apply though.

I see a shipping details box. That only allows you three options though.

Shipping anywhere in the world
Shipping in the US only
No shipping involved.

You can't put in a dollar amount.

Hey, that's a really good question. I haven shipping fees added for international backers, but haven't had any from outside of my country (U.S.) pledge yet. It seems likely to me that it all gets lumped into one amount that both fees come out of.
