Ok I am a newbie to this forum. I have backed around 18 projects on Kickstarter and just launched my own.

I wondered what is the best place to drive traffic outside of my social network contacts?

Yes I am copying the Potato Salad thing, but I know to make my recipe and have the most popular recipe in the world..

I am open to any help, funding swaps, etc... Looking for some guidance.

We are pretty new to kickstarter ourselves, and have yet to reach out goal, but I can share with you what we have done so far.

All of the above can be linked to crowd sourcing sites such as Ayudos, CrowdFunder, etc. We started with emails and messages to groups and then moved to individuals. We have found (as expected) that the individual emails are much more effective and motivational. Some additional ideas are holding a press event for your compaign, having a silent auction, and phone banks.
