My day job is trying to get my 3D printing for the gaming industry business up and running. It takes good 16hr/day effort and no end in sight. It's tiring and exhausting, but hugely rewarding! :D

Today we've just launched our first KS campaign to give back to the community and also discover how much of a desire there is for our product.

I'd be hugely humbled and honored if this forum's resident experts could check out my project page and share their thoughts.

Nice to meet you all, and much thanks to everyone!

Our Kickstarter is live at http://tiny.cc/backme! Come check us out and say Hi!

Hello all, I am new here. My day job is as a sales specialist at a very well known electronic company, heres a hint, most of us own our phones. I love what I do and love my company.

When I'm not there, I am working on my clothing line State Line which is and will always be my passion project. We are still in the crowd funding stage so my passion comes in to play at its highest level at this moment

    Hi All!

I've been lucky enough to make a living working in theatre production the last 10 years. I always knew I did not want to have that schedule forever (lots of nights and weekends), and am finally ready to transition out of it. Vegan baking has been an interest of mine for the last several years. It has become a new outlet for me, and I want to explore the business opportunities I can create for myself connected to this new interest :D

    What is your day job?

I am an industrial designer (consultant) by day, Maker and proponent of local manufacturing by night.

    What is your passion?

My passion is making beautiful objects. Many of them never are produced, but I make them anyway. It's satisfying to make something with your hands (and power tools, of course). We reach out to local manufacturers for production, however.

My M26 Studio launched our first Kickstarter, the Rotere 360 Task Lamp. We made a round of prototypes and are looking for funding and support for local manufacturing here in Chicago. We welcome any suggestions on how to reach our goal, as we are new to the KS platform.

Our Kickstarter is live at: https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/63 ... -task-lamp

    Hello.... ya'll,

My name is Harrison Caldwell and I'm a photographer by day, night and everything in between.

My passion project is going to remote places, capturing the experience, doing what I can to help, and then bringing that experience to the rest of the world. When I launch my first kickstarter very soon it will be about going to Uganda to teach photography to some young men and give them some good cameras. Even when I'm just starting out its all about the give back.

I look forward to learning from all you guys.. and gals... as I launch this a future campaigns!
I can't change the world, but I can change someone's world.

    Hi,
I have been in the print industry for over 30 years. I like it, but it's just a job. My passions are musical instrument collecting (over 2000 guitars owned so far and still going), and writing.

If I am allowed, I will mention my Kickstarter project currently running. It's for my new book titled "Lessons About God I Learned From My Cat." It's a light-hearted, yet deeply spiritual little book. A quck read with lots of laughs and some deep thoughts to ponder.

We launched yesterday and today I got notice from Kickstarter that they had chosen it as a "Staff Pick!"

That is very exciting to me.

I'm not much at forums and have not participated in many of them so please forgive me if I am taking liberties that I should not.

    What is your day job?
Lucky enough that I do work related to crowdfunding about 80% of the time. I also work part-time for a mobile development company (android apps).

My background is in sales and programming (front end dev, java). I have launched/worked in around 5 or 6 different startup companies.

    What is your passion project?
My passion project is to keep finding new ways to help creators (designers, hardware entrepreneurs, software entrepreneurs, authors, etc) get noticed and launch new products.

I'm also planning to start doing crowdfunding classes in NYC.

I'm a business consultant during the day. I'm a CPA and have developed real estate projects in Chicago.

I'm passionate about launching my Self Expression Center called Rooted in Chicago. It comes from a personal dig-deep journey. I realize that there is a need out there for us to practice fitness for the soul. So often, people are telling you what the right way to live is - at Rooted, I want to create a place where you discover it for yourself through creative activities and the arts. It's all about connecting to yourself and others in the process.
