Innovative Web Series Strives to End International Conflict

    by jboccagno » Mon Jul 01, 2013 4:01 pm

Are millennials so sensitive to stereotypes that we cannot confront our differences? Our interactive online TV series marries “Friday Night Lights” with “Crash,” to tackle how our generation deals with conflict.

The Team is a unique web series made by and for millennials to initiate a constructive conversation about handling tough and controversial issues, such as stereotypes and misconceptions.

Based in the nation's capital, viewers will be able to follow three Washingtonians as they overcome their cultural differences to better connect on their high school soccer team. With a non-linear plot, viewers watch the dramatic scenes unfold from the perspectives of the show’s main characters.

To date, we've raised nearly $20,000 to make our vision a reality. We need just $10,000 more to launch the web series. With high production and filming costs in D.C., we must rely on donors like you to achieve our final goal.
