I do mentoring work with children and many of them are reading well below grade level. I am starting a children's book series that will focus on having very diverse characters that will hopefully engage and encourage children of all backgrounds to embrace reading at a very early age. This is a really awesome mission and project . I think reading is essential. I think you might get better engagement if you created a video for your Kickstarter campaign.
