Exploring Unique Packaging Options for My Kickstarter Campaign

by Dede Catalan » Fri Dec 20, 2024 8:45 am

    Hi everyone,

I’m preparing to launch my Kickstarter campaign for a line of artisanal baked goods and I’ve been brainstorming ways to make the packaging stand out. Since first impressions matter, I want the unboxing experience to reflect the care and quality of the products.

While researching, I stumbled upon this website that offers custom takeout boxes. They have some interesting designs that seem versatile and practical for food items.

I’m curious has anyone here used custom packaging for their Kickstarter projects? What features or designs worked well for you? Any tips for balancing cost and quality when creating custom packaging?

Looking forward to hearing your thoughts!

I love that you’re focusing on the unboxing experience it’s such a crucial part of creating that lasting first impression, especially for artisanal baked goods! Custom packaging is a great way to elevate your brand and really communicate the care that goes into your products.

I’ve worked with a variety of businesses on their custom packaging, and one thing I’ve found is that simplicity can often go a long way. For example, using materials that align with the quality of the product whether that’s kraft paper, custom-printed boxes, or even adding a personal touch like a thank you card can create a really special experience for customers.

As for balancing cost and quality, it’s all about finding a supplier that offers the right combination of both. For instance, I’ve seen great results with custom popcorn boxes, where we were able to get high-quality packaging at a reasonable price by ordering in bulk and choosing versatile designs. That said, it's always worth investing a little more for packaging that truly reflects your brand.

Would love to hear how you plan on incorporating the packaging into your campaign and what kind of designs you’re leaning towards!

Good luck with your campaign I’m sure it’ll be a success!
