Great advice everyone. I really like the idea of creating a personalized video for each person with a large following. I'll add my top three after successfully funding my Kickstarter, which should be in December.
For those of you who mentioned email being important...what did you offer bloggers, influencers and press contacts in terms of value that they liked? I would guess that providing them with value up front would increase the likelihood of them covering your campaign. Also, has anyone had their project covered prior to their Kickstarter launch? I'd like to build my audience as large as I can prior to the Kickstarter, and then couple that with more coverage after the Kickstarter launches. Is that too much to ask?
