Hey guys, I've written a blog post that covers all the tips we've learnt from running our own IndieGoGo campaign, and a load of advice we've received from other successful croudfunders, if you guys are interested:

If using Kickstarter or IndieGoGo, research their rankings algorithms and learn how to play them – the higher you are up on their webpages the better.
Expect 10-20% of funders not to pay or to drop out;
You’ll always end up needing more time than you think you will, both during the campaign and delivering on it;
Create a separate email address for your crowdfunding page and expect spam;
Set up an Amazon business account;
Choose your target carefully: Too low and you look small fry, too large and you might miss it;
Be prepared for both miserable failure and incredible success (say, up to 5x your target);
Make sure you have some friends ready to donate if your campaign slows down – momentum is key.
