Hi Everyone!
While our campaign is still going on, I'm happy to say we were 100% funded in our first 3 days. Now we're trying to get to our first stretch goal.
One thing that I think is sometimes underestimated when starting a campaign, but was invaluable to us, is understanding your Backer community and who they really are and what they want. Really gage what community your product fits into through social media interaction before your campaign starts and try to establish a presence there. Then, once they've become Backers, always listen to their feedback and respond to their comments and messages and make sure you're there for them as they are what got you there in the first place.
We've been so grateful for all the word of mouth and press we've been getting, but first and foremost it's been all about making our community of supporters even stronger and making sure we're making a product that is really what they want.
