great thread, even thought a bit outdated, it does come down to the creator no matter what service you use but agencies can't claim 100% of the success, not even the top ones, it all start with the product, the better the product the more backers will attract, the better conversion rate.

I always suspected that people offering to promote my kickstarter day-1 were doing it just for the money. The fact that I got 3 emails for "promotion" the same day I launched my kickstarter was a bit surprising to me. Thank-you for this information on do-s and don't-s.

We got funded.. and we successfully delivered our rewards last month with no hassle whatsoever. Looking back, I would like to give a few word of advice.. I believe people been asking about it but nobody said it out loud. Creators, you need marketing expert to promote your campaign for you. Juzo even suggested me to change our product name just so we can get more traction. We thought it was stupid to follow his idea but after our first launch with less than 10 backers in 3 days, we decided to start over since we now have nothing to lose.

Juzo, thank you. As far as I remember, you get 215 replies in this topic with less than 10 good feedback for your help. I would like to openly make a statement that Juzo did a good job with our project. 5 stars, no doubt.
