I have just gone through my first week of my kickstarter campaign and the initial burst is slowing down. I am contemplating between doing my own marketing or engaging one of the companies to do it. I am on a shoestring budget so its good for me to read up and get advice here!

I have a question lowkey.. what is the best solution for collecting leads.. should I go with the old school manual subscription box on my website or rely on facebook leads instead?

I quite agree with you on this. Most agencies if not all are out there to deceive new creators in my opinion. You can actually do all the marketing via Facebook yourself. I did a couple of pre launch ads on Facebook and i was getting leads $1.5 to 2.5/lead.
