Thanks, @Dog Button.
My campaign successfully ended a few minutes ago.
I kept track of everyone I plugged the campaign to. 640 people in all - Facebook, e-mail to friends, LinkedIn and mostly tweets on my two Twitter accounts. I had varying degrees of success (two book reviews). I need to blog about it because it's interesting and (hopefully) useful.
The summary is it's more time-effective to create relationships with the media and bloggers *before* a campaign rather than a splatter-gun approach during a campaign for small returns. That's not counting my personal network. Only by contacting them before my campaign was I able to get 35% funding within 24 hours.
I'm going to have a lie down now.
