Hi. I think it is a really good idea, actually. Kickstarter is a key to a successful business, at least to the beginning. All that financial non reimbursable part of business is welcomed on the first places. The only thing to mention here is that you have to be responsible if you are getting big money. Big money big risks! By the way, the best way to keep track of all those money is a very good soft. That IT consulting company is a musthave if you want your business to grow and be successful!

Yeah, your Kickstarter campaign can be successful, but because of the Covid19 pandemic threat, it will be very hard for you to build up a business, a lot of people went broke this year because of the Covid. I have a friend that had 2 restaurants in LA, he had to close them both. He has just sold one of his restaurants for almost nothing, and now he is working with some insolvency practioners that will help him close all the debts he owes to different banks from the US.

Interesting thread, starting a business is not that easy as someone thinks, and if you want a working business that will bring you money, you have to work a lot. I had a business in the construction domain some years ago, and even it was a profitable one, it was also a hard-work job, and I decided to sell it recently. Moreover because of the covid things have changed. I have plans now to invest in stocks because I have friends that made a fortune investing in the stock market. Hope everything will be ok and I will find the best investment fund available on the market.

I truly believe that you can start a profitable business and or get your product into retail starting with crowdfunding.
And since someone touched the topic of covid, well, yes, 2020 was a weird and bad year for some people BUT many businesses were born because of the pandemic, many creators sought an opportunity to launch products for people staying at home, or new mask options, new antibacterial options, etc.
Any crisis can be also an opportunity.
But yes, for anything to succeed is necessary to put in the work.
