I backed this project here, I know I am not simply ordering something. I am funding a campaign for someone to create something new.

It is a product I'm interested in having, especially since I'm always on a PC. I've found similar for over twice as much. I'm not even set to receive this until February. http://store.focalupright.com/Locus-Seat-p/flt-1000.htm

The problem though is I've found a previous campaign from these guys, where backers had problems communicating with them.It was in the late stages of the campaign so maybe they moved support to their website?

Basically, when you back a campaign you can't just ask for a refund right?

I find that I always eventually get products from Kickstarter, although some take a few years.

Good questions.

1. Yes, I would voice your concerns to the creators if they are super late. However, Kickstarter projects are usually late. A good creator will be in constant communication though.

2. You can ask for a refund, but it's really up to the creator if they give it. A good one should, but it's not always possible if they've already used the money to fund the creation of the orders and they just aren't ready yet.
