We're about 1/3 family and friends, 1/3 from online bloggers / forums, 1/3 local media and Kickstarter. With 10 days to go in our campaign we're expecting the local media numbers to jump as we're now getting in-state press coverage.

Its roughly 80% friends and 20% strangers...

Out of 13, I have one complete stranger, and one who pledged because his father gave him one of my paintings as a gift. So, 11 friends and family, and 2 strangers.

I have only had my project up for 2 days but I feel like the friend/stranger split is hugely due to the promotion Kickstarter itself gives you....do people fell like this is a fair statement? As I said i'm only days in by know means feel like an expert
