1. Have a clear strategy for getting the word out before launch. Prepare images, write-ups, emails, and a list of your top connections in advance so you can work on marketing during the campaign. 2. Add-ons and new rewards should be thought of in advance too. If you find yourself in the middle of the campaign designing an add-on, you'll take valuable time away from marketing. 3. Respond to backers and would-be backers as soon as possible. Use updates to stay connected and keep them excited.
