    Too fast to deliver rewards?

    by Maestro » Fri Mar 16, 2018 10:46 pm

If I already have inventory built up, I could actually ship rewards immediately when the campaign ends. Does kickstarter look down on this kind of behavior? Any risk to doing this?

Don't set your reward delivery too fast or kickstarter may take notice. Set it out for a few months, and then just ship it right away so that everyone is pleasantly surprised.

I don't think they mind, but I would keep it kind of quit just in case.

I heard of kickstarter denying a campaign because they told the staff they already has inventory ready to go. Keep it quiet and ship rewards fast, you'll get tons of repeat backers on your next campaign.

Why do a crowdfunding project then? Why not just do it as an ecommerce? I think you will get higher conversion rates that way compared to a crowdfund.

Because you can get more attention as a crowdfunding project, that's why.
