Post Campaign Questions on Fulfillment and Sales Tax

    by rperica » Mon Nov 10, 2014 1:22 am

    Hi All,

I would love some help with a couple of questions I have on fulfilling my backer rewards. I am based in Vancouver, BC, so some Canadian expertise would be great!

    So here they are:

    1) I am shipping out of Vancouver, BC through Canada Post. Does anyone have experience with what is the best way to fulfill Domestic and International orders.. e.g. label printing automation etc.

    2) Do you need to pay GST/PST on rewards and provide the backers a purchase receipt?

Any other tips and advice would be greatly appreciated!

    Thanks,

    Ryan

    1) Stamps.com works for a buddy of mine who runs an online business. Granted he isn't shipping hundreds of packages at once, but the process seems pretty scalable. As long as you know your shipping weight for each rewards, it shouldn't be terribly difficult. Just double, then triple, then quadruple check to avoid headaches later on.

    2) No clue. If I had to guess, I would say no. But I honestly have no idea.
