I'd like to share my project MUTED, which was covered by Clutch Magazine and MaxIt Magazine and supported by Regina King and Shonda Rhimes this week.

MUTED is a film that asks the question: What is the worth of a child? Our story follows Lena Gladwell, an African American mother of two, as she struggles to be heard by the media when her teenage daughter disappears. Expecting the full support of law enforcement and local media, Lena quickly learns the painful and tragic lesson that all missing persons are not created equal.

The feature-length version of MUTED was in the final round for the 2013 Sundance Screenwriters Lab but for now we are aiming to raise $15,000 on Kickstarter to produce the short.
