Real marketing companies do not do outbound sales. They rely on their reputation in our community to gain business. If you build it they will come is a true philosophy, as long as you are doing good work people will know how you are.
I have tried countless marketing companies during my past projects, and none of them made me reach my goal. Kickstarter projects need a single marketing company who can raise all the funds themselves, single handedly, and if they can't do that - guaranteed in a contract, they are a scam. Plain and simple.
I would also beware if a company does not work on commission. I mean - if they are so good at their work, why don't they work for commission for all the live projects? It seems reasonable to me: either you can raise funds for projects or you can't. And if you are able to raise funds then you are able to work on commission. No contracts are necessary, our word and agreement as founders is enough.

Yes, keep your email address private and use an inbox that you never check that's listed publicly.
You are very brave for what you did.UnaSlater wrote: ↑Wed Oct 14, 2020 9:03 am Indeed, today this topic is very current and I am sorry that we have to go through such ugly things and I really can't understand what is going on in the minds of those people.
Don't they understand how absurd a marketing scam is? Maybe one day they will understand that such methods are no longer current.
I personally also started a business some time ago but I did not do such nonsense and I got up with other business ideas much better and more efficient so that now I can be proud of the results.
There are hundreds of such companies and no one stops them, so yeah, they don't really bother and continue to scam people.YabbaJabba22 wrote: ↑Wed Feb 14, 2018 2:10 am I agree, and it is up to us to stop them and bring them to justice. They cannot be allow to survive.
