Thanks for the info. Not very encouraging though...

My project is over and funded.

I got a pledge of 1$ from the backerclub.
for a 300$ expense I would expect more.

Backer Club, fantastic idea but they want so much to back it makes it really discouraging.

@MotorizedMotion You should have qualified for a refund and received all your money back if you had less than $299 in new pledges.

BackerClub gave a full refund. Yesterday.
The communication was very good with them.

I used BackerClub for my project and found them to be great and very supportive!!. I didn't reach my funding goal but had strong interest for the backers at BackerClub $542 in total backers and would recommend them to be part of your campaign. Since I didn't reach my funding goal I contacted BackerClub re the guarantee that they offer and the service fee was refunded very quickly!!!. If I go back to KickStarter I would use BackerClub again.

I've created a similar site that somewhat joins the two together. I have created http://www.fastbacker.com that allows backers to get the early bird deals using a browser extension that will automatically change a backer's current pledge or create a new pledge for a project in the event someone backs out of an early bird deal on a project. Since my site is fairly new (over 150 members and growing though), I am doing free cross promotion of my site with Kickstarter project creators. I'll promote your project on the front page of my site (no minimum projects to back required), to Facebook, Twitter, and through a newsletter to my users if you post my logo and link to my site telling your backers a little bit about my site. I can also vouch for BackerClub. The team provides excellent communication & fast email responses. Of course it won't be helpful to all projects, but it definitely has helped many It's a great way to get the initial backers for a good start when you launch.

BackerClub now has over 3,100 members who have backed on average 117 projects each. Definitely the a great community to be a part of!

Our Project went live with Backerclub this morning and it has give a nice little bump, which is great as Day 3 was a bit slow, Day 4 is going much better with Backclub's 5 new backers so far. It was a decent enough bump that I went ahead and opted for their "Featured" extra, hoping that will help even more.
