    Getting backers to promote via updates?

    Hey guys,

    Have any of you tried using your updates to motivate your backers to spread the word or help out in any other ways? Like leaving comments on the page that say something good about the project?

    It feels like it could be sort of bad form but I just wanted to get some other opinions on the matter.

    Hey Herringtj,

    You should absolutely encourage your backers to spread the word in any way and you shouldn't feel an ounce bad about it! It's a bit of a disappointment that Kickstarter doesn't have the share on "X" social media site buttons built in on the main campaign page or updates.

    Checked out your campaign too. What a great idea! Reminds me of some of my high school shenanigans. Great way to hit the nostalgia. Fantastic job on being over 50% with 23 days to go. Keep at it!
