    Crowdfunding and Google+ groups

    by Cybele » Fri Oct 03, 2014 7:52 pm

I'm wondering if anyone has used them or had any feedback they want to share regarding a project's exposure on any of the several Google+ groups available for crowdfunding.

What the general feeling/attitude is regarding what's effective/not effective when promoting your crowdfunding campaign to the Google+ community?

Any input will be appreciated! :)

    Thanks!

I use Crowdfunding on Google+ and I don't find that it has helped me at all so far. I have asked for feedback and I have not received any response. But I guess that it's better than nothing at the end of the day.

Just about opportunity cost. May not be the best use of your time if you're busy, but maybe you could find an intern for the campaign or something?

Thanks for the feedback... It was in line with what I was suspecting, but wanted other opinions...

I've had no success with Googe+ either :(

I think it depends on which google+ group you are getting involved with. For example, the 3D printing google+ group is a pretty awesome community of industry enthusiasts. If you were doing something in that industry and it was genuinely new, I think that would be a good place to promote. Some are more active than others.
