So some friends of mine started a campaign 4 days ago

Anyone has any experience with this? What do you think might cause people to click on a perk and then change heir mind? I am trying to make a re-marketing campaign for this segment in particular and later down the campaign was thinking of making a discount just for them if my friends agree with it but what I was curious is from other people's experience what might cause this. I know on every page is normal to loose part of traffic and that's how all funnel works ... but this is quite a huge loss for a simple checkout page.
