My project is in design but is maybe just as much a technology project. Can I list it in both?

Ours is in Product Design - only 17 days to go for our campaign and we still need to hit another $32K... I'm confident that we'll get there. Been a really exciting journey so far... I'm handling the marketing in North America and it's been quite a lot of fun to immerse myself in the whole Kickstarter culture. Lots of cool people out here! PS this is my first post!

Hey does anybody know if there is a big difference in what different types of kickstarters get created across the world? I recently backed an anime being made out of Japan that I'm sure (hope) will start alot of independent anime kickstarters coming out of Japan but the difference between US and UK is what im interested in. Thanks

Under Games - Live Games. About the subcategory i wasn't completely sure, but i think i made the right choise?

We just launched our first Kickstarter campaign, StoryWall. StoryWall is a combination of wall decoration and a mobile application which works with Augmented Reality, this way we combine the real world with the virtual one. As a first character we have a cow - Chloë Cow. Aim the StoryWall App on the cow and see her come to life in 3D. We want to add all sort of interaction and we want to make every single item on the wall be interactive with everything. So children can create their own game and story.

We went with publishing, but it was a challenge picking - we're making a card deck that's a resource for parents, caregivers and educators. There's a heavy artistic component. So the format is what most people are used to for a game (cards), but the goal is a tool / resource / reference.

Looking at what was out there, it seemed like Publishing was where things closest to what we're doing would be.

We're putting our project under publishing. We're making a card deck, but one whose predecessor was originally conceived of as a book, and the process in terms of fulfillment is close to identical.

It would be great to connect with others who are publishing. (I saw you have a few books including kid's books - we have a kid's book lined up at some point in the future as well, though I'm not sure whether we'll crowd fund it or not).
