I currently spend my days as a general manager for GNC but I love entrepreneurship and my project, which is coming soon to kickstarter, helps people generate brand new business ideas, and it's a blast to play!

I'm a product manager of a company called CodinGame (https://www.codingame.com) which is an amazing platform dedicated to skill improvement for coders.

I really love to create product and I think it should be one of the reason I love kickstarter so much ;)

    Hi!

I have been in the marketing line for about 5 years and my passion is event organising! I quit my day job 2 months ago. Honestly, I wanted to a career break before moving on to a higher level. So I went for a solo trip to Melbourne - Australia! And that is when I got inspired and determine to do something that I have always wanted - designing! Something different from what I used to do.

I created my own 2017 planner. (I have been a planner addict for 10 years!) And this planner is designed based on experience, practicality, reliability, together with feedbacks from people around me. I created it based mostly based on my past employment lifestyle. I feel the burn out from my previous daily job. I neglected my family and friends because there are so much demands from my previous employer. Because of my fear of losing the job and income, I sacrifice moments that are dear to me. And I forgot to live my life with purpose, live for myself.

I created this planner for everyone who is like me! If you feel the same, you can check out my project here - http://kck.st/2gf8yni

    Hi all,
my name is Daniel, I am an sales engineer from German with a focus robotics.
I really like my job, but as an sales person you are not in touch with a lot technical details unfortunately (my opinion)....
To satisfy my curiosity, I started to teach myself C, Python and mechatronics (especially micro-controllers hooked me).
I had my first commercial website about stock trading as an student, which worked quite well.

Nowadays I am triying to combine my experience with my hobby to create something. My first project is about a new generation lock, which will protect all your goods like bag, jacket, locker... it workes as an door alarm and it evens as an bicycle locker too.
I've bulied a couple of prototypes already, but the size still needs to shrink a bit more and during the whole process I am coming up with idea after idea which I need to implement as well (its very hard to come to an end :) ).

During my work I backed up some money to finance marketing activities and other expenses.
My biggest issue though, is how to start to make my product knowen to other people.... I've started to read bookes about how to setup a start-up marketing campaign but I still have a big gap of knowledge regarding this topic.

I hope this forum will be one more source to learn something about how to get started.... I appreciate any kind of advice. Please don't hesitate to contact me if you have the feeling that I can help you in some way.

    Cheers,
    Daniel

I left the corporate grind where I ran marketing and communications campaigns for 20 years. It's been 5 years now on my own and it's marvelous. For the past year I have been building ILLUSIO which is an augmented reality imaging system for plastic surgery.

More specifically, plastic surgeons use ILLUSIO to show patients what they'll look like with breast implants.
It's been a fantastic journey getting involved with the latest in augmented reality and gaining a deep understanding of how this new technology can be used to completely change the dialog between a surgeon and patient. With ILLUSIO, it's entirely visual.

We are now live on Kickstarting raising money to expand the business.

    Congratulations on surpassing your goal.

I just launched my own campaign a few days ago. It is something that might interest you:

I am on here to learn more about crowdfunding, and keep up with the latest news and trends in the crowdfunding community. I love to know about successful campaigns, and what made them successful. I would also like to get in touch with the leaders in the crowdfunding community. If you would like to know more about Thinacia Atlas, here is a link to the website:

Kyle, without doing a deep dive into Trhinacia, the company and offering looks really intriguing.

I just launched my Kickstarter project a few days ago and I'no now spending my days...and nights scouring the internet for various methods to increase exposure...and in turn contributions.

Hi there Sbriggman thanks for having this topic on this forum.

I'm Clay Smith currently living and working on Berlin. I don't like my daily life in building construction, but I comfort myself with blogging most of the time when I'm not on my job. It really helps me to remove my mind from the reality, and thinking of a new one, probably a better one too.
