My old day job was teaching foreign language. I taught Spanish and EFL for ten years. My passion project has always been writing. I am now exceedingly fortunate and my day job and passion project are one and the same. Of course, the day job doesn't pay much yet, but I'm working on that. Luckily the husband is keeping us housed and fed for a bit (it's his turn anyway).

My day job and passion job are one and the same, a musician and a sailor. Although, if I had to upgrade my passion job, it would include some more staff to make life as a musician/sailor a bit easier!

Hey everyone! New to the forum, but thought I'd give a Kickstarter community a try, since we're all probably like-minded, passionate individuals!

My day job: I'm fortunate to be able to say I do what I love for a living. I am an independent filmmaker and cinematographer. My company specializes in event and business promotional videos, wedding films, and sports videography. In addition, I have served as a cinematographer on two feature films, and several shorts.

My passion projects are everything to me. I'm currently producing and directing a superhero web-series that was funded on Kickstarter, and will be releasing in October! My team is crazy talented, and I'm so excited to show off everyone's hard work on the series. I am also co-directing something of a dream project, a Star Wars fan film (!), set to shoot next spring, for which we are currently in pre-production, and plan to run a Kickstarter campaign for in the winter.

This seems like such a great forum for Kickstarter individuals and campaigns. I can't wait to see what I can learn from y'all!

Congratulations on you and your teams success with your Kickstarter and best of luck as you finish productions of the web-series. Seems like it is going to be an interesting one. It´s also nice to see that you are working on other projects as well. Any advice for other creators either launching a project or thinking about launching one? Again, congratulations on the success!

Hey everyone, I am bran new here, but not for the idea. Just few weeks to start my first project in Kickstarter, greengame.co
Nine mounts ago I was head of the office in insurance company in my home city. I was doing pretty well, but then suddenly the idea of Green|Game (the name of my project) came and i left my job. Cool, a? So for the last nine mount I am doing mostly this and I am feeling really good. If you are not happy with your job it means that you are wasting 70% of your aware time doing something you don’t won to. That makes you automatically a sad, unhappy person. Follow the example, be brave to be happy !

My day job is caring for and homeschooling my 3 beautiful children, but my passion is in baking. I've wanted to own my own bakery since before I can remember.

I've finally started my kickstarter campaign to try and make my dream come true. 25% of the way there! Wish me luck!!

My day job is a student lol, But after class I head off to work at a small engineering firm and hope to work there after i get my degree, as far as passion, it is defiantly hands on projects and fixing things.
