    In the opposite order:

My passion is helping those in need, whatever that need may be. I was actually in the field of social work for a little while because of this.

My day job is working for a startup that exists to bring financial opportunity back to the middle class. So it turns out that my passion to help others is still being fulfilled. Very awesome to work for something you are passionate about!

My day job is working on my game, Treachery in Beatdown City. It's also my passion project.

I am also working toward expanding and creating a games development advocacy label to help people who are not usually represented in the games industry.

hi guys, just found out about this forum, and I thought I'd post something here. I just started a kickstarter project last weekend, it is a new line of watches.

I am a daytime full time accountant and my passion is for watches and art. I draw, mostly sketch, some acrylic painting & waterpaint, etc. I collect watches (nothing fancy) with spare money, tinker with them, mod them, etc. and I finally started my own line of watches. This is my kickstarter page:

Anyway, good luck to everyone who just started.
    Cheers

    Purplesushi
Just got smacked in the gut when I saw your watches. They are sublime.

    ME WANTS!!

I just can not afford one, just wanted to congratulate you on designing a work of art and on a very successful
    and strong campaign!!!

Are you planning on having the line available online after the project? I would love to own
one in the future. I usually wear rubber bands. I snap them on my wrist when I need to remind
myself to do something.....plus, you will be surprised of how often you need a rubber band in the day!

But I need to have a Grown Up Man With Kids watch and just started looking into different companies.

    ...just love your watches!!

    Hello!

I am currently a student at Liberty University. So that is my primary job, however, i am also a traveling musican, and a producer. I own a studio.

My passion is music. It has deeply impacted me, and I desire to use it to impact others also! :)

@sbriggman - glad you understand what I mean! And thank you, I've been trying to reach out to as many mommy/parent blogs as possible with sending an example for a review, but nothing so far.

@purplesushi - 1) nice to meet a fellow accountant! 2) Agree with previous posters, love your watches! Sadly I too cannot afford at the moment but maybe after my kickstarter gets funded :)

Thanks guys for kind words on the watch design. Yes I will have some available afterwards as well, please follow me on facebook or twitter:

I got to know the whole crowdfunding & Kickstarter thing only recently and I am excited to be a creater. I've been browsing a lot there and there are so many projects that I want to be part of. Once things settle with my financing and when I'm back to my normal cash-flow (or close to 'normal'), I will be a regular on Kickstarter for many projects. People are coming up with some cool stuff!

Thanks guys and this is a great site to share things, and good luck to all of you with your projects, I will make sure to check them all out.

I work at Target stocking shelves.

My dream project is to build an original IP to call my own.

@lwiles - "My passion is helping those in need" Very cool! This is also one of my passions - I like to help people succeed and inspire them to go out of their comfort zone. If you think about it - most types of businesses have products that help people in their everyday lives or help them solve problems they encounter in the workplace. Very cool!

@nuchallenger - I have a few friends into the mobile app gaming industry. Definitely think that now is a good time to find dev talent in hidden places and bring it to light. Just look at Flappy Bird. The guy was a no-name developer and then hit it big and social media helped spread that a lot.

@purplesushi - Did an interview a while back with a woman who did a luxury watch Kickstarter project. May be worth glancing over for some insights. http://www.crowdcrux.com/touchdome-rein ... ury-watch/

"I will be a regular on Kickstarter for many projects. People are coming up with some cool stuff!" - Cool!

@Atlas Rhoads - That's awesome! Very inspiring to see people pursing their passions. One of my friends is trying to make it as a full-time musician. He recently graduated from college. He's gotten some good traction, but still is a grind. Admire you a lot for it! I was also doing a startup in the music industry a while back with some friends (MusicMind.co). Love that the music space is being transformed as we speak.

@ody - Forgive my ignorance, what do you mean "IP"?
