Hi everyone!
First of all, thank you for the support and feedback the last few weeks. We were able to evolve our marketing videos and Kickstarter page based on everyone's help.
Our party game is officially live!
https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/12 ... party-gameWe decided to launch with a fairly large launch party.
We technically could have gone live with our campaign a few months ago but rather than rush into it, we spent a few months promoting, building up interest with friends and family, researching all of the best practices, pushing out social content and planning a launch event.
We had 150 people to our invite only launch event in Allentown, PA and we officially launched our campaign. The event had food, music, giveaways and promotions and we had people on stage playing the game live.
Having everyone there, being able to watch the Kickstarter screen as backers started to come in and being able to explain the game to everyone really helped us come out of the gates strong.
I know this approach is nothing groundbreaking but having enough time to promote prior to going live on Kickstarter seems to have helped.
We'll keep updating as the campaign rolls on.
All advice and feedback is encouraged!
Thanks!
Ali & Britt
