I will say yes, but so much will depend on the contents that make up the vape or any additives, I do not know any that are bird safe but i will tag @DizzyBlue to see if she knows of any that are safe,

Vaping around Greys (or any birds) is a big no-go. Their lungs are super sensitive, and even the vapor from a THCA carts (which is considered way less harmful) or other vapes can leave behind residues that could harm them. The VG and PG in vape juice create a sticky layer on surfaces (like how car windows get hazy after vaping), and that same residue can build up in their delicate air sacs.

I actually wondered about this a while back because my friend has an African Grey, and her partner vapes. She asked their vet, who said that while vape fumes aren’t as bad as cigarette smoke, they can still irritate a bird’s sensitive respiratory system. Birds have super efficient lungs, so even small particles in the air can affect them. She ended up setting up an air purifier near the bird’s cage and making sure no one vaped around him.

If you’re into THC weed gummies, those might be a better option if you’re worried about air quality around your Grey. Just be mindful about keeping anything infused well out of reach—parrots are little troublemakers when it comes to snatching things they shouldn’t.

If avoiding airborne particles is the goal, switching to THC gummies, as you mentioned, could be a better alternative to reduce exposure. Just be extra careful about keeping them out of reach. Parrots are notorious for getting into things they shouldn’t!
For those who still prefer vaping but want a cleaner, high-quality option, something like NEXA N20000 might be worth checking out. It’s designed for a smooth experience, but as always, it’s best to enjoy it in a well-ventilated space away from pets.

I like smoking vape and I don't care how harmful it is.
