Using Multiple Campaigns to Launch Business.

    Hello, my name is Weston.

I started a business with a friend not too long ago and we decided to go the crowdfunding route to get capital for our startup business Cherry. Cherry is a longboarding company that strives to give the rider a premium longboard with one of a kind deck art that inspires them to go farther and go faster.

We launched an IndiGoGo campaign last month aiming to get our total funding amount. the campaign included 3 different longboards with the option of getting the complete board (deck, trucks, and wheels) or just the deck along with several branded clothing items. we found little to no success (aside from a few family members). So, we decided to break them down into 3 separate campaigns with a much lower funding goal. Our first campaign is currently live at https://igg.me/at/cherrybomb/x/18909640 and we plan on launching the next campaign after this one ends.

The reasoning behind this decision is that we work with local artists and the style (art and deck style) of the 3 boards we have varies, and hopefully, we can market each better with just one board at a time.

Has anyone else done multiple campaigns in a relatively short period of time for the same company? Was this the right choice?
