Advice is great, but you can't apply what worked for one campaign and compare it with another. The most important thing, I believe - is your campaign page.
If you can make your campaign page attractive, interesting and make backer's trust you then converting potential backers into actual backers should be easier.
Then it's a case of connecting with the right audience, using the right pitches and getting influencers in your niche to write about you.
