Hi everyone my name is Aaron, today i took a big step for myself by starting my first kickstarter project.

My life has always been dysfunctional as i have Aspergers syndrome (autism).

A couple of years ago i was introduced to an art therapy teacher, She helped me immensely and encouraged me to write poetry . Writing poetry was a godsend for me, for the first time i could express what was going on in my head.

My poems deal with the darker emotions and are not about fluffy bunnies and sunshine, but they are meaningful to me.

I have wanted others to read them for a long time, but have been unwilling to just put them on the internet for others to claim credit.

Today i have started my kickstarter to bring closure on a chapter on my life, i hope i will never need to write about troubled times again. Life is better now, but i am still no good at the social stuff.

I would appreciate any tips or advice to help my project, i usually just say stuff as it is rather then elaborate.

Poetry is not the only thing that speaks to people's souls.

How you word your KickStarter project page speaks to their souls, also. Fortunately for you, you have set a very low - and attainable - funding goal of only 50 pounds.

For a poet, though, your choice of words utilized as the basis for your attempt at persuasion is interesting.

You say that you wish to inspire others to write. But, will your loathing to be filmed inspire them to pledge?

All things considered, your crafting of your project message will likely persuade people to NOT pledge, rather than back you with pledges.

Even if people dont enjoy your poetry, keep at it! dont give up. And Im sure you will reach your goal!!!

How do people enjoy poetry that isn't shared with them?

Asking them to buy first, and then see what they bought (pledged to support), is a grab bag approach. It is inherently problematic. They are, in a nutshell, flying blind.

Fifty pounds is an attainable goal. With twenty days left in this KickStarter, and zero pledges accumulated to date, the current approach is making no progress. It might behoove the creator to revise his page.
