Hey guys, hope you're well.
Here's my kickstarter:
https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/ti ... ic-designeStormdeck is my first kickstarter so it's been a bit of a learning process. I developed Stormdeck in my spare time over the course of a year so I could produce a prototype for the kickstarter promo.
The product is aimed at graphic designers so it's a bit more of a niche audience. Feedback I've had has been extremely positive, but spreading the word has been an uphill struggle.
The first week saw a good amount of backers, mainly from people searching on Kickstarter directly, or by social media where I had posted the link. Now with 23 days left things have slowed down, I've submitted a press release, been very active of twitter / FB / Linkedin, I've emailed kickstarter and design blogs, and I've used
http://mygigs.co/ to help spread the word.
I'm realising that with a niche audience comes a hard struggle to get the word out. I'll be continuing to push forward to promote and hopefully make this project a success. I'm confident in the product, but still very much finding my feet when it comes to the best way of promoting it.
Kind Regards,
Tim
