    Scaffolding planks

    by TwoforTwo » Sun Jan 17, 2021 6:41 pm

Hello, I was wondering if it is possible to cut out old boards for scaffolding? I know people recycle them to make furniture, etc. I read that they are made of pine, and that pine chips and splinters. Has anyone tried cutting them out? If it were possible to cut better with a hand or power tool? Thank you in advance

My father is a forester. He is also making a lot of figurines out of wood. He has a big collection in his room. once I wanted to make him a present. Some of his figurines were old. I wanted to renovate them, to look like new. I didn't want to make it by myself because I didn't' want to destroy one while renovating. I found some professionals that did the work while he wasn't at home. I paid extra money for them to come to my home because I didn't want my father to know that I want to make him a surprise. After they finished the work I was amazed because the figurines were looking like new.
