Launches its much-anticipated Kickstarter campaign seeking public support

After months of prototyping, the ‘you-powered’ toy rolls out its Kickstarter campaign throughout November to test its marketability among green-minded parents by putting an old-fashioned spin into its new family toy: NO batteries. NO cords. Ever.

Rollerang is a simple-yet-smart cylindrical toy that kids roll away, only to enjoy it mysteriously rolling right back to them a few seconds later at its starting point.
Yesterday's wooden toys are being overrun by today's digital device invasion because they don’t "play back" with kids.

Until now. Rollerang rolls back!
It strives to bring back the long-lost art of playtime previous generations enjoyed by introducing today's kids to that tangible, old-style, alternative fun. But, they power and control it on their own.

As it rolls out, Rollerang’s inner mechanism charges up by transferring the kinetic (motion) energy to temporary potential power (think of a taut bow and arrow ready to fire). At the far end of the roll, it begins drawing from that inner charge to accelerate back the other way – to its starting point.

It nurtures independent play and builds hand-eye coordination among young children with a little help from some unseen science.
