Wow it's really incredible to see how generous you are in helping creators Nick!

Would you please provide some guidance to my campaign @ http://kck.st/1hft5fJ as well?

My team, TagTalk, created gift tags & cards that can carry interactive greetings. We launched almost 3 weeks ago. Had a good start and a few exposures in media. But recently it wasn't doing so well and we are still $11.5k short from the goal. We tried most of the recommended tactics to run a successful campaign, but haven't get much luck. Not sure if it's our marketing language on Kickstarter page or website (www.tagtalk.ca) is not clear? Or is it really the product and idea just not appealing enough. Would love to hear your thoughts Nick! Thanks so much for lending a hand :)

Seeing how you are a guru I would love some advice about how to improve the traffic from potential backers to my project. Please check it out here https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/60 ... creativity

@Iasayinc - Have you guys considered doing rounds of funding? Break up the big 30k goal into smaller goals that are more achievable? How has your local outreach gone for the campaign?

Like Sal says, perhaps breaking the campaign into smaller chunks would help. Also, it's late in your campaign to be asking about driving traffic. I always recommend for people not to launch unless they're prepped their marketing in advance. Lastly, your campaign, to me, would benefit greatly from a massive off-Kickstarter push - via blogs, and social media.
    Kickin' it,

I believe you saw an early push on KS because you were discoverable. If you do not "take off" during the discoverable stage, then the marketing is up to you. If you are seeing a drop off in traffic after the stage of discoverability, then you are either not doing enough off-Kickstarter marketing, your message is unclear, or your project does not resonate with people.

All that said, I think your item, while pretty, complicates matters. You need a smartphone to use it, but that very smart phone likely has a facetime feature. If not, it can text, and it can be used to call someone.

While a fun, leave-behind tag might be a nice surprise, it will take an incredible emotional tug in your message to get people to forego their smartphone's inherent capabilities to take on the friction of having to prepare a message using your item. So, more marketing is in order for you to see more traffic that converts.

    Hope this helps.
    Kickin' it,
    Nick
