How long did it take for your campaign to be approved?

Other than the video thing, just maybe a couple screenshots of the platform within the campaign story. People like visual aids and being able to see it, if you already have some of it built out.

It took one day, Rachel3113: we submitted the campaign on a Wednesday, and we received the email with the approval the following day (but the Amazon Payments Account process took us over a week!).

A video will help, a lot.

The details don't say how the money will be spent, this will be a put off to many backers.

This looks super niche, your best bet will be to get people that could use it to review/blog about it. Good luck.

That sounds like a good tip from Dave - have you found relevant websites, blogs, magazines to contact? Then of course finding people who are interested in programming and the technical side of things on social media. I'd guess the people in your team could look at the channels they use themselves and use those to tell about the campaign.

Notice you have a twitter account which is a good. Have you looked for relevant communities on other channels like LinkedIn, Google+, Reddit and other forums. Thinking technical people, would there be channels on IRC worth getting involved in?

What do people think, how important is it to have a Facebook account linked to their Kickstarter? I noticed there isn't one linked on your campaign currently.

I think fb is very important for legitimacy. People can see that you are real and might feel like it's a better chance of not being scammy.
